Stroll across the wide, paved courtyard, past the stone fountain and into this warm and welcoming house, with its light, modern interiors, cool sandstone floors and soaring ceilings. Outside, the glass-encased staircase tower is an architectural show-stopper, but what’s most striking about Villa Armonia is its surroundings – it’s hard to drag yourself away from those sweeping views over the estate, the Niccone valley and over to Tuscany..

The property was meticulously restored in 2004 and consists of three buildings: Main House, Guest House and Bread Oven. The imposing L-shaped main house which was the former fortified farmhouse and watch-tower, is approached through the entrance gates, past the guest cottage, up a short drive with Holm oaks and mature garden planted with ancient olive trees and Mediterranean plants. A large paved courtyard with a fountain leads into the villa which has some fine Romanesque features and the origins of the building clearly date back to the 11th Century. It was renovated to preserve the austere external appearance whilst creating a spacious modern interior with sandstone flooring and a glass encased external staircase tower. Extensive private grounds and generous views, an 18x4m infinity pool and vaulted pool house all combine to make this a fascinating property. There are five bedrooms in the main house of the property, and an additional one-bedroom guest cottage, ensuring 12 guests can sleep in spacious accommodation. There is a minimum of seven nights rental required from May to November which is reduced to four nights from November to April. A maid service is available 7 days per week and the gardener, responsible for pool cleaning, will attend 6 days per week. For those staying more than 14 nights, a butler is included throughout your stay.
