WHEN TO VISIT
Peru can be enjoyed year-round, but the most favourable periods are the shoulder seasons from April to May and September to November. These months offer comfortable weather across the country while avoiding the crowds during the peak season of June to August.
As Peru lies in the southern hemisphere, its seasons are opposite to those in North America and Europe. Summer runs from December to April—an ideal time to experience Lima’s coastal energy, enjoy fresh ceviche and pisco sours by the Pacific, and make the most of long, surf-ready waves along the shoreline.
